The highly-anticipated Viewsat 7000 Dual Tuner PVR's is a sleek and versatile FTA satellite receiver. Its dual tuner architecture allows you to watch one channel while recording another. You can even record two different programs simultaneously, and schedule your favorite shows for automatic recording.
The Viewsat 7000's front panel sports a handy USB 2.0 port for quick and easy interfacing with your personal computer, flash drive or multimedia device. The 7000's also comes with Card Reader (X Crypt Conditional Access System) built into that handy front panel.
One of the Viewsat 7000 Dual Tuner PVR's differentiating attributes is its built-in MP3 player and Photo Viewer. Another unique feature is the 7000's ability to accommodate a user-installable internal hard drive. You can install any standard ATA or Ultra ATA 3.5" IDE hard drive through the Viewsat 7000's handy front access panel. And the Viewsat 7000 is compatible with hard drives up to 2000 GB. This is a receiver with massive multimedia storage potential.
Sporting 16MB of SDRAM, the 7000 offers more memory capacity than many Free-To-Air receivers. Its onboard SDRAM, coupled with a 160 MHz internal processor makes the Viewsat 7000 PVR an overall fast and easy receiver to use.
Other features include blind scan, support for both C and Ku bands and a programmable 8,000-channel (TV and radio) capacity. The 7000 also features component outputs for superior picture quality.
