Based on the platform of it's bigger brother, the Nova, the NFusion Solaris is continuing to uphold the highest standards you have come to expect from every Nfusion product. The Nfusion Solaris has an Ethernet Port, which allows for integration of your home network for IPPVR functionality.
The single tuner Standard Definition nFusion Solaris is powered by a 120 MHZ processor. ThenFusion Solaris also includes DRAM 16+2 Mbyte (Which is much faster than 32 Megs of SDRAM)
for speedier channel changing, satellite scanning and Electronic Program Guide loading.
Fully MPEG-2 and DVB-compliant, the nFusion Solaris includes component outputs: S-video and S/PDIF optical output for digital audio or Dolby AC3 Stream out, 3 RCA output for Video, Audio L/R and 3 RCA Composite Video Output (Y, Pb, Pr) and ethernet output.
The nFusion Solaris includes some features of high-end FTA receivers, such as Electronic Program Guide (EPG), maximum 10,000 channel programming capability, and a powerful Channel Editing Function that allows you to sort channels alphabetically, by satellite, FTA/scramble or Parental Lock.
Other notable nFusion Solaris features include: Blind Scan (Smart Search) and Simultaneous Satellite Scan with 4 Satellites, multi language support, programmable channel list, Multi language On-Screen Display, a Powerful Channel Control by Favorites, Lock, Skip, Move and Delete.
If you don't need USB 2.0 compatibility, PVR functionality, dual tuners or High-Definition reception, the nFusion Solaris is an excellent FTA satellite receiver. And it's value-priced.
