Under the hood, the Neusat 9000HD's Sti7710 200Mhz Processor and 128MB SDRAM ensures offers smooth operation and efficient loading.

The Neusat 9000HD's High Definition tuner offers MPEG-4/H-264 display in the 1080i, 720p, 480p, and 480i output formats, which translates to good picture and sound on High-Def channels. And the 9000HD features Multi-Picture support (4 - 16 pictures) and true 16:9 widescreen.

The fully DVB-S2-compliant 9000HD offers a suite of component outputs, including S-video and SPDIF Digital Sound (optical) audio output, HDMI output, Component and Composite Video Output (Y, Pb, Pr) and RCA Audio Output L/R. And the Neusat 9000HD can decode Dolby AC-3 digital audio.

Other noteworthy features include: 5,000-channel (TV and radio) memory capacity, Blind Scan (Power Scan), a Smart Card Reader, and 8MB of flash RAM for speedy channel changing.
